Hey There, Readers and Fans!
It has been awhile since there has been a new post on this blog of mine.
As you can see, there is a new look!
What do you think?
This custom blog design was kreated by kyla!
When I created this blog for reviews and giveaways, I wanted a special and personal design for it! I have visited many blogs while entering their giveaways and many had wonderful looking blog designs. I am envious of those who are savvy enough to do their own. In fact I have called myself a dork a few times while editing my posts and pages! No worries, my feelings are not hurt. It is a laughing matter! Laughter is good medicine! Well anyways, I went hopping from blog to blog. *** SCREECH*** Slam on the brakes folks! I was visiting "One Little Indian" 's blog and fell in love with the design. No, I didn't want the lil Indian although he is very cute, don't you think? What I fell in love with was the whimsical design of the blog! I had to find THIS designer! Lucky for me, her blog button was on One Little Indian's blog! Before I approached Kyla, I visited more blogs to see more designs. Lots of them were "wow", "ooh" and "ahhh" but did not have that whimsicality that I wanted to suite my personality and the things that I like around me. I finally contacted Kyla!
The first thing that I want to say about Kyla is that she is so understanding and patient! She'll tell you that I am more patient but as I mentioned before..dork, me! We discussed several options that I may have wanted for this blog and what color scheme did I like? Well, she started with some ideas from me, the title of my blog, the colors that I liked and also added her ideas. They were all wonderful ideas and an idea or two just didn't work out. They just didn't click. We kept our communications open and went back and forth, tweaking and adjusting. There is a lot to creating a blog design, pulling everything together especially when you're working with a client who is a such as myself! (hahahaha) Kyla has put me at ease through out the whole process. I will admit that near the final stretch I had a minor melt down simply being overwhelmed. Then it happened! Kyla's magic brought everything that I liked together in perfect harmony! Don't ask me how it happened because the initial beginnings is not what ended up being,! It is beautiful in the most whimsical way, at least to me! I am very very happy to have stumbled onto the One Little Indian's blog and found Kyla!
If you have been thinking about having a custom design done for your blog, I would recommend Kyla Kreates! Her rates are very reasonable and wonderful to work with! Hey! It just dawned on me! I did a review on Kyla's work!
Let me know what you think of my new look!
In a day or two, I will blog about the Rafflecopter's widget and share with you on how to use them when you come across them for giveaways!
See You again soon,
