My Caring Cross, Review & Giveaway (Raffelcopter)

My Caring Cross

I received this beautiful handcrafted Olive wood cross in the mail from "My Caring Cross" to review.

It came with samples of two choices of colors (Ivory & Burgundy) velveteen gift bags, a sample card for a great idea to use at weddings, a folded gift card with an uplifting  message on the front & inside the card there is information about the cross, how it was crafted and suggested use!

"When I am afraid.
I will trust in you."
PSALM 56:3

I was surprisingly taken back by the size of the carved cross.
Here is a picture of it on my hand to give you a better idea of the size.
The size of my hand is women's medium to large.

I appreciate things made from natural wood. My Grandfather was a master carpenter and a fantastic cabinet maker. I grew up watching him build and craft beautiful homes. I was in awe of his talents. When I held this cross in my hand I became flooded with many wonderful memories of that wonderful man. My grandfather went to be with our Lord just over a year ago and I miss him so very much. The cross has given me comfort as I meditated and prayed. I thank "My Caring Cross" for this opportunity to review this beautifully hand carved cross. I have held it in my hand and rubbed it with my fingers. It is soft and smooth, very comfortable and sturdy. Another thing about this cross, it is individual in it's grain of the olive wood. I love the grains in the wood; no two crosses are alike ...just like the lines in our palms.

These hand carved crosses are made from olive wood and are made by local Christians in Bethlehem.
Please read more of this story at "The Caring Cross Story". It discusses about The Olive Tree, Bethlehem Craftsman and fair Trade and the Benefits of Caring Cross.

  1. Looks nice - do you know the country of origin of the wood and the country of manufacture?
